I am  presently a coder of Anesthesia for several ambulatory centers.  Also have coded for pain management centers. I was also a medical biller for a lttle over a year.  Experience with the imputting of patients information, medical, insurance, addresses and billing.  Have been coding for 3 years.   51 years of age looking for any coding work that I may be qualified for.

I used to do billing/coding in the 80's (obviously prior to a lot of changes taking place in the past decade!!).  Since then, I have been an independant medical transcriptionist, specializing in outpatient medical practices including OB/GYN, orthopedics, plastic surgery, general surgery, internal medicine, and radiology.  I have done this for over 15 years on my own, and prior to that I had about 10 years under my belt working in physician's offices.  I have been taking a medical coding course, and plan to become certified and switch over to the medical coding field, focusing on outpatient practices, hopefully from my home office.  I welcome any feedback and support any of you can provide, and thought this site would be an excellent source of information as I proceed in my quest to become certified, and then seek employment as a medical coder. 

I am working as a Medical Coder since Feb 2nd 2006. In year of 2008 June I have completed my CPC from AAPC.

I having experience of Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology and Cardiology, Surgery and Knowledge of Evaluation and Management.

Now i am working with Billing team having 70 pluse team members and handling physician as well hospital billing of Othropedics, Genral Medicine, Gynecology & Obstratics, Dermatology, Cardiology and Gastro-Entrology with handling Denials also. 

As roal of Team Coach handling Team training, Client communication and team motivation to maintain TAT.

I have fast learning ability and high knowledge of medical terminology as a medico graduate.

My typing skills as 40 wpm.
