Yesterday our local newspaper (Philadelphia Inquirer) printed an article
about no cost online college courses. Below is a list of links they
provided to the schools' sites - including Yale, MIT, and UPenn. These are
full length, self-directed, no feedback or interaction courses - that are
the same as presented in the classroom for full tuition.

>> This is a clarification posted to the article by UPenn:
Dear All, A point of clarification...Penn's Learning Commons will host two
free learning communities that will roll out this Spring. The first is a
Rockefeller funded Urban Women's Health Commons (available in March) hosted
by the Nursing School. This Commons will feature content from Penn lecture
events and real time blogging and discussion forums hosted by a network of
interdisciplinary scholars from across the globe. The second is an NSF
funded learning collaborative (available early summer) that will offer a
complete open course on Neuroethics hosted by Penn's Neuroscience Center.
All are welcome to both communities! Please check out our Penn LPS Commons
site in early March for more info. ![]()
